21-Year-Old Gambler Sells Stolen Laptops to Pawnshop

A 21-year-old gambling addict rented laptops from student acquaintances at one of the capital’s universities and sold them to pawnshops. He paid 20-30 thousand tenge a week for rent, so they willingly rented out their laptops to him.

However, in the end, about 40 laptops ended up in a pawnshop.

The man spent all the money from the sale on bets - the fraudster was already detained by the police.

Now he faces from 3 to 7 years in prison with confiscation of property.
